ENJAZ

Every opening on your fuel tanker, locked and on record.

ENJAZ is an electronic lock for the access openings of fuel tankers, managed from a platform that runs on your own servers. Each lock, unlock and alert is logged, from the loading depot to the delivery point.

A rugged dark-grey electronic lock fitted to the access opening on top of a fuel tanker at dusk.

Between the depot and the delivery point, the tank is out of your sight.

A tanker leaves the depot full and arrives hours or days later. On the way it passes through drivers' hands, rest stops, yards and sometimes subcontracted carriers. Its openings are usually closed with numbered mechanical seals that are checked by eye.

Fuel can be drawn off on the way.

Any opening on the tank is a way to remove fuel, or to add something to it, between loading and delivery.

Seals can be copied.

A numbered seal can be cut and replaced with a look-alike that a visual check easily misses.

Shortages are found at the end.

A missing volume is usually discovered at the delivery point, with no record of which opening was used, when, or by whom.

How it works

From the supplier's depot to the delivery, in five steps

How ENJAZ works: Locks on the tank → Management app (BLE) → Trip and geofences → Your server → Live map and alerts → Two-code unlock Locks onthe tank Managementapp (BLE) Trip andgeofences Your server Live mapand alerts Two-code unlock
  1. Fit the locks.

ENJAZ locks are installed on the tanker's access openings and enrolled in your platform.

  2. Lock after loading.

Once the tanker is filled, an authorised user locks it from the management app on their phone, over Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). The event is recorded with the user and the time.

  3. Plan the trip.

The supplier creates a trip from its depot to a single depot. The supplier's depot and the destination depot each have a geofence.

  4. Follow it live.

During the trip each lock reports its status and position to your own server, and the full route is logged. The platform raises an alert if the tanker leaves the planned route, or stops or is tampered with outside an allowed zone.

  5. Unlock with two codes.

At the depot, a code is sent to the driver's app and another to the depot owner's app. The depot owner uses both codes to unlock, and the lock opens only inside that depot's geofence. The opening is added to the event log.

Platform

One platform for your whole tanker fleet

The ENJAZ platform is the control room for every lock on every tanker.

Dashboard.

All tankers and their locks on one screen, with the current state of each: locked, unlocked, or needing attention.

Trips.

Create a trip from the supplier's depot to a single depot, and follow it until delivery.

Live map and geofencing.

See each tanker on the map, with a geofence around the supplier's depot and the destination depot. Entering and leaving each geofence is recorded.

Route history.

The full path of every trip is logged on your server, not only its start and end.

Event log.

A time-stamped history of every lock, unlock and alert, per opening and per trip, kept on your server.

Alerts.

Your operators are alerted when a tanker leaves its planned route, or stops or is tampered with outside an allowed zone.

User roles.

Decide who can lock, who can unlock, and who can only view: depot staff, drivers, station receivers, supervisors.

Security

Your server, your keys

ENJAZ is designed so that your fleet and delivery data never has to leave infrastructure you control.

Self-hosted.

The management platform is installed on your own servers or private cloud. Lock events, users and logs stay with you.

Your own certificate authority.

Each client is issued its own certificate authority. Your locks and your server identify each other with your certificates, not with keys shared across customers.

Encrypted lock-to-server link.

Communication between each lock and your server is encrypted.

Locks you can reassign.

A lock can be moved from one operator to another, so hardware can follow your contracts, carriers and subsidiaries instead of being tied to one account.

These are design principles of the ENJAZ system. They are not a statement of third-party audit or certification.

Use cases

Wherever fuel travels by road

A fuel tanker leaving a depot onto a desert road at golden hour. A row of fuel tankers parked in a depot yard, seen from above. A driver holding a phone beside the rear valve area of a fuel tanker at night.

One supplier, many depot owners.

Each trip goes to one depot, and only that depot's owner can open the tanker there, with the two codes.

Deliveries to fuel stations.

Lock the tanker at the depot; it opens on arrival only inside the station's geofence, and the log shows the full route.

Bulk supply to industrial sites.

Generators, mines, construction and farms, where deliveries travel long distances to remote sites.

Subcontracted carriers.

Keep control of the load when the truck and driver are not yours: access is granted per user and recorded.

Cross-border transit.

Keep a recorded custody chain for fuel moving between border points.
